A Path to Wellness Through Music
At Danville Area Community College, well-being matters. That’s why Harmonia Healing Studio is partnering with the DACC counseling services to provide fully funded music therapy sessions for students and staff. Whether you need a space to unwind, reduce stress, or explore self-expression through rhythm and melody, these sessions are designed to support emotional, mental, and cognitive well-being. No prior musical experience is required—just an open mind and a willingness to explore healing and growth through music. Through guided listening, songwriting, movement, and improvisation, music therapy offers a unique way to process emotions, build resilience, and reconnect with creativity. Take advantage of this free resource and discover how music can enhance your personal and academic journey at DACC!
This unique opportunity is open to 60 students and staff for the 2026-2027 academic year, providing individualized music therapy sessions at no cost through the counseling center.
Individual sessions will be held in the Counseling Center (Cannon Hall, Room 122).
This service is offered ONLY for DACC staff and current students. Proof of enrollment or employment may be requested.
