Lea is a board-certified music therapist and a level-200-hour yoga teacher. Lea has been a music therapist since December 2021 and has been teaching yoga since July 2020. She loves to incorporate therapeutic music into yoga classes along with movement and mindfulness in music therapy sessions. Lea believes that true wellness comes from a holistic perspective.
She enjoys teaching beginners or those new to yoga to share with them how accessible yoga can be for everybody! Her teaching style is breath-centered and focused on experiencing rather than perfecting.
Lea has experience using music therapy with sexual trauma survivors, children and young adults with disabilities, older adults with memory difficulties, and individuals with mental health struggles. She is an experienced clarinetist and uses piano, guitar, and other instruments in music therapy sessions.
It is Lea's belief that music therapy is not just an alternative treatment; it is a transformative process that allows individuals to reclaim their voice and their healing journey. It provides a path to reconnecting with oneself, building resilience, and ultimately finding peace amidst the noise of the world.
Wherever you are on your journey, Lea is excited to meet you and work with you towards your goals one-on-one or in a group.
Lea's services include Group Yoga Classes, Private Yoga Sessions, Music Therapy.
